Nottinghamshire’s Attenborough Nature Reserve 2
Here are three more photographs taken last month at the nature reserve. The spiky plant in the third picture is a teasel and is about four feet (or 1.2m) high.
Unless you venture off the beaten track, there’s no need to wear boots. Before you go, it’s a good idea to print the map from the website, but there’s a temporary malfunction at the moment. Unfortunately the map is not clear in some places, especially south west of the reserve centre where there are made up paths which are not shown and hardly any signposting. It’s probably easier to follow this part walking clockwise. Also audio tours are available via smartphones.
